I was diagnosed with Endometriosis in my late 20s and have had my share of laparoscopies (on last count I believe it was 10!) and more questionable advise than i care to think about.
For so many years this condition controlled me, then in a chance moment in time I incorporated two, often opposed (or certainly not considered complimentary), strategies at the same time in my life. The combination of the two transformed my endometriosis experience.
I went from in so much pain several days a month that I was unable to walk from my bed to the loo without doubling up and crying, to managing most months pain free, and at most a paracetamol or two on day 1 of my cycle.
I began to wonder whether I had somehow struck lucky or whether there was something to it. Turned out to be the latter
My dream is to help women with endo, to support one another, to work with their bodies and to implement long lasting change. We will work to forge a new relationship with our cycles that enable us to attain all of our goals in life and to celebrate those accomplishments in a body experiencing less pain each month.
